Sagicor Group Limited is looking for the ideal candidate to join our Group Marketing team in the capacity of:

 

Brand Manager - Banking

 

The selected candidate will work closely with the Marketing Manager - Banking to coordinate the planning, execution and review of all marketing activities to assist with the growth of the company’s bottom line. 

 

*This role requires frequent local travel within and outside of working hours, and frequent work outside of normal business hours.

 

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Implement marketing strategies in keeping with the overall company strategy
  • Prepare and submit annual marketing plans and budgets for all divisions in conjunction with the business
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of marketing programmes and make recommendations accordingly
  • Work closely with business units and branch managers to identify and capitalize on profitable opportunities, including working closely with cross-functional teams in the development of new products and services
  • Ensure that all advertising communication materials/channels are up-to-date, accurate and consistent with brand standards (website, brochures, signage, call centre recordings, etc)
  • Adhere to the company’s branding guidelines and contribute to the development of the Sagicor brand
  • Ensure product research is conducted to guide business strategies
  • Liaise with advertising agency to develop and/or refresh advertising campaigns across all media
  • Manage marketing spend within agreed limits
  • Work closely with Promotions Team to assist in driving revenue for Sagicor Bank
  • Work with the Sponsorship Team to ensure all company events and sponsorships are executed to agreed standards, actively work with PR team to maximize positive exposure for Sagicor Bank
  • Monitor materials at bank branches to ensure that products are placed at prominent positions, and materials are changed and updated based on strategic initiatives.

     

     

     Academic Qualifications/Specialized Skills/Competencies:

     

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent qualifications
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in marketing or related field, including experience in successfully executing marketing activities.
  • Experience in the banking industry would be an asset
  • Ability to lead, manage and motivate project teams
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Creative, with a passion for success
  • Ability to create and deliver high impact marketing presentations
  • General understanding of the banking industry and regulatory environment
  • Strong business thinker and negotiator
  • Sound knowledge of personal computing applications, including spreadsheets, word processing, database management, communication and graphics tools 
  • Valid Driver’s license and a reliable motor vehicle
